On June 1, 1985 Bruce Marks officially became Boston Ballet's new Artistic Director. A former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre and The Royal Danish Ballet, Marks left his position as Artistic Director of Ballet West to take on the role of Artistic Director at Boston Ballet.
