    Boston Ballet presented its first Jerome Robbins ballet, Fanfare. Sara Leland, former student of E. Virginia Williams and New York City Ballet Dancer, set the piece for the company. Leland, who had appeared as a guest artist with Boston Ballet, originated roles in Robbins' works while at New York City Ballet, including his Dancers at a Gathering.
