Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker premiered in November of 2012 to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. With over half of the shows selling out, this holiday tradition is not to be missed. Subscribers can purchase their tickets before the general public, guaranteeing their seats for a performance that The Patriot Ledger called a "visual and theatrical delight." (Limit 40 tickets).

Easy Ticket Exchanges
Exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production. Any ticket purchased from the Boston Ballet box office by a subscriber is exchangeable (excluding any one-night only productions). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. As a subscriber, your first exchange for each ballet is free. Exchanges must be made at least one business day before your regularly scheduled performance, OR before the performance into which you want to exchange, whichever date comes first. Day-of-performance exchanges are not possible.
Flex-Change
Once a season you may exchange tickets to one production for another production of your choice! Return your original tickets to us one business day prior to the performance you cannot attend and you may change into a different upcoming production. Flex-change is subject to availability and not valid for The Nutcracker.
Subscriber Standby -Never miss a ballet!
Bring your unused subscription tickets to the Boston Opera House box office on the day of any subsequent performance of the same production and we will seat you according to availability. Comparable seating is not guaranteed. Please note: Subscriber standby is not available for The Nutcracker or non-subscription ticket purchases.
See It Again
Love what you saw? Only subscribers can see the ballet again for just $35 per ticket. Visit the box office or call 617.695.6955, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5pm to order. Subject to availability. One See It Again ticket for one original ticket. Not valid on section 1 seating. Original seat not guaranteed. Offer is non-transferable. Not valid for The Nutcracker.
Free Seating Upgrade/Improvement
Once a season subscribers may request a free seating upgrade/improvement on their current seats for one ballet. Visit the box office or call 617.695.6955, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5pm to make your request. Requests should be made at least one business day before your regularly scheduled performance. Subject to availability. Not valid for The Nutcracker.
Ticket Donation
If you cannot attend a performance, you may donate the tickets back to Boston Ballet and receive a receipt for an applicable tax-deduction. Box Office must be in possession of the tickets one business day prior to the performance you cannot attend.
Lost Ticket Replacement
Call the Box Office if you have lost your tickets, and we will reprint them. Reprinted tickets will be held at the theater. Please bring your subscriber card and a picture ID to claim them.
Discounted Tickets
Need extra tickets for friends? Subscribers may purchase additional tickets at a 10% discount off the full price. If you subscribed to a 5 ballet seated package you save 15%!
