Joined Boston Ballet II in 2012
Christopher Warhuus began his training at Berkeley Ballet Theater in Berkeley, California. In 2008, Christopher was awarded a merit scholarship to the San Francisco Ballet School and continued his training there over the next four years. He has attended summer sessions at the San Francisco Ballet School, American Academy of Ballet, and American Ballet Theater.
While at Berkeley Ballet Theater, he performed many roles including the male principal in Sally Streets’ Chopin Pas de Deux and a variety of lead roles in The Nutcracker. He performed a variety of dancing roles in many San Francisco Ballet company productions including Michel Fokine’s Petrouchka, John Neumeier’s The Little Mermaid, and Helgi Tomasson’s The Nutcracker. He most recently appeared in the school’s 2012 Student Showcase as the male lead in the first movement of George Balanchine’s Western Symphony.
