Joined Boston Ballet in 2009
Corina Gill joined Boston Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in2009. She began her professional training in San Diego, California with Sylvia Palmer and Ahita Ardalan. She completed her training under scholarship with David Allan at the University of California, Irvinewhere she graduated with a BA in Dance.
Gill has danced with Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech, San Diego Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, State Street Ballet and Molly Lynch’s National Choreographer’s Initiative.
In 2006 Gill became an inaugural member of the Los Angeles Ballet where she danced the principal roles in George Balanchine’s Agon, Concerto Barrocco, WhoCares?, Allegro Brillante, Rubies, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, The Four Temperaments, Apollo, and Tarantella, as well as leads in August Bournonville’s Napoli, and La Sylphide, and Thordal Christensen’s The Nutcracker. During this time she was featured in both the Los Angeles Times and Dance Magazine’s 2007 issue of “On the Rise” by Victoria Looseleaf.
Gill has appeared on the hit TV shows House and The Cleaner. She has also performed in two different productions of Oklahoma! (Dream Laurey).
Gill's favorite roles in Boston include La Bayadere (Manu), and principal roles in Jorma Elo's Sharper Side of Dark and Elo Experience and Jerome Robbins' Antique Epigraphs. She was also featured in Pointe Magazine's July 2012 issue of "Dancer Spotlight" by Ashley Rivers.
