Joined Boston Ballet II in 2012
Hannah Keene lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts and has trained with the Boston Ballet School since age five. She was a trainee with Boston Ballet in 2011-2012. Keene has also trained with Edward Ellison of Ellison Ballet in NYC. Keene attended the National Ballet School of Canada’s summer program as an exchange student in 2011. Additional summer training includes Boston Ballet and The School of American Ballet on full scholarship.
Keene was the recipient of the Mikko Nissinen Artistic Director Scholarship in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012.
As a Boston Ballet Trainee, Keene performed in Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker, Balanchine’s Symphony in Three Movements, and Harald Landers Études. As a Boston Ballet School Pre-Professional student for Next Generation, she performed Balanchine’s Raymonda, Bourneville’s Konservatoriet, and Balanchine’s Scherzo la Russe. Hannah performed in the Stephen Godfrey Choreography Workshop at the National Ballet School of Canada’s summer program.
