Joined Boston Ballet in 2004
Kimberly Uphoff began her training in Olympia, Washington at the age of seven. She continued her training in Killeen, Texas, the Kirov Academy in Washington, DC, and the American Dance Institute in Rockville, Maryland. In 2002, Uphoff attended Boston Ballet’s Summer Dance Program and was asked to join Boston Ballet II for the 2002-2003 season. She was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2004.
In addition to ensemble roles in ballets including George Balanchine’s Serenade and Divertimento No.15, Bronislava Nijinska’s Les Noces, and Marius Petipa’s Raymonda, Act III, Uphoff has appeared in Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty (Crystal Fountain Fairy), Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker (Marzipan), and Nissinen’s Swan Lake (Spanish Variation).
