Joined Boston Ballet in 2003
Sarah Wroth began her training at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet in Frederick, Maryland, under the tutelage of Joyce Morrison. In 2003 Wroth graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ballet and Education from Indiana University and joined Boston Ballet.
Wroth's repertory with Boston Ballet includes Jiří Kylián's Bella Figura; William Forsythe's The Second Detail; Jorma Elo's Awake Only, Carmen and Elo Experience; Twyla Tharp's In the Upper Room as well as Helen Pickett's Etesian and Eventide. Wroth has also performed Soloist roles in George Balanchine's Coppélia, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Symphony in Three Movements, Symphony in C and Jewels; Jerome Robbin's Fancy Free; John Cranko's Romeo and Juliet; as well as Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
Wroth has also taught part time for the Boston Ballet School since 2004 and has taught for both the Boston and Newton Summer Dance Programs. In 2005 she also began teaching for Boston Ballet's Adaptive Dance Program, a program designed to provide dance education for students with special needs.
