Boston Ballet brings its holiday classic The Nutcracker to Boston Children’s Museum for an entire day of activities including brief excerpt performances, interactive dance and music lessons, arts and crafts, educational displays, and a meet and greet featuring an opportunity to take photos with characters from the production.

About Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker
Boston Ballet’s glorious production of The Nutcracker returns to the magnificent Boston Opera House November 27 – December 27, 2009. The 2009 Nutcracker features choreography by Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen, the entire Boston Ballet, and more than 250 children from Boston Ballet School. The full Tchaikovsky score will be performed by the Boston Ballet Orchestra. This is the 42st consecutive year that Boston Ballet is performing The Nutcracker, a classical ballet in two acts based on the fairy tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann.
