May 16 - May 26, 2013
Boston Ballet presents George Balanchine's Coppélia, May 16 - 26, 2013 at The Boston Opera House. Coppélia is a light-hearted comedy complete with mistaken identities, a little magic, and a doll that springs to life! Léo Delibes' score, called by The New York Times, "a classic of melody, orchestration, rhythm, and storytelling," is at once lively and accessible. With more than 20 children from Boston Ballet School, Coppélia remains a jubilant and engaging classic for the whole family.
