Senior Principal Solo Pianist
Freda Locker has been the Principal/Solo Pianist at the Boston Ballet Company since 1998 and rehearsal pianist since 1991. Born in Pittsburgh she studied at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music and received degrees from Temple University and the Manhattan School of Music. She has performed extensively with the Boston Ballet Company and played Hindemith's Four Temperaments at the 2008 Santander Festival in Spain and works of Ligetti at the Opera House in Seoul Korea in 2009.
