Born in St.-Petersburg, Russia, Elena received degrees from School of Music at St.-Petersburg Conservatory and State University of Culture and Arts.
Elena began her career as ballet accompanist at the Academy of Russian Ballet (Vaganova School ) - where she built her improvisation skills and learned the delicate art of accompanying ballet dancers of all levels. Soon after, she was invited to the Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet Theater to work with the principal stars and corps de ballet.
In 1997, Elena emigrated to the United States and began working part time for Boston Ballet School and the Company playing classes and rehearsals with a wide variety of teachers and Ballet Masters staging works for the Company.
In 2012 she was promoted to Company Pianist with the Boston Ballet Company.
