Megan Kimball began her formal ballet training at Kansas City Ballet School, where she danced as a student apprentice with the company and performed in both The Nutcracker and Giselle. She completed summer programs at Jillana, The School of American Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet, and studied at the summer intensive programs for both Miami City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet on full scholarship.
After high school, Kimball continued her training in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s professional division and at San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship before joining Washington Ballet’s studio company. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Carmina Burana, and the premieres of The Little Prince and Matthew Neenan’s Quick Bright Things.
Kimball holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, where she graduated with honors.
